Made of a soft but resistant Acrylic crochet yarn, very durable, of Colombian manufacture, of the brand Miratex, who since 1948 manufactures yarns of the highest quality.

They do not fade because these bags are not dyed or printed, they are woven with colored yarns.

They do not deform. Since its material is an acrylic yarn, the bags can be stored folded, or carry heavy items inside, and do not suffer alterations in their shape.

All our hardware is tested in a coastal and saline environment, we choose those that although their cost is higher, have a high durability and do not change their appearance over time.

We recommend you to wash your wayuu backpack in a washing machine on a low cycle, the closing strips with balls or bangs you can put them in a cloth or mesh bag so that they are not damaged in the washing process, always use soap and softener of course.

We review each of the parts after they are manufactured and the final article after assembly, and we also review them before they are shipped. In any of these reviews we correct the new items or discard those that do not meet our quality standards.

You will be surprised with the useful life of our bags, as they withstand intensive use. They do not deteriorate when stored, as they are made of acrylic material. They are washable and do not lose their resistance properties in this process.

Our store has a relationship of more than 15 years with a number of Wayuu leaders who, together with each community, handcraft the parts of the bag (bags, handles and accessories). Internally in our workshop, which includes weaving, leatherwork and sewing operations, we assemble the handmade piece that will arrive to your hands.
